I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that the holidays are one of my favourite times of the year.
I’m a huge fan of Christmas and the creativity that each designer, store owner, and company shows off during this season. Let’s admit it, it takes a lot of work to make window displays beautiful, but for the holidays? You need that extra kick so it can perfectly encapsulate the holiday spirit.
Let me share with you some of my favourite holiday window displays across the globe:
Every year, I anticipate the unveiling of Bergdorf Goodman’s display. Bergdorf takes their holiday window displays seriously and this year, they really exceeded themselves.
This year’s window display is themed, “Isn’t It Brilliant.” Isn’t It Brilliant’s flashy aura is all thanks to the mirror mosaics, chrome accents, and vintage-inspired signs that are set to inspire customers to enjoy the holidays.
Peggy Porschen is an all-day brunch cafe in the UK.
What I adore about them is how they turned the cafe into a festive parlour, complete with winter flowers, shimmering fruits, and snowy pine cones just for the season.
Of course, their interiors are the perfect backdrop for their holiday patisseries as well, allowing their customers to enjoy their food in a vibrantly red and candy-pink room that celebrates the holidays.
Macy’s flagship store in New York is also known for its amazing holiday window displays. I’ve always loved how Macy’s takes their holiday windows above and beyond, and this year is certainly no different.
This year, Macy’s theme is ‘Give Love.’
Give Love follows the adventures of Tiptoe the Reindeer, Polar Bar, and Penguin. Each of Macy’s five windows is decorated to the nines to tell the story of these three friends.
Of course, Le BHV Marais in Paris also rose to the holiday cheer by having customers experience Christmas in the Forest to life.
Le BHV Marais takes us on a journey through a magical forest accompanied by a bear, fox, blue jay, and hedgehog to experience an enchanting Christmas in their home.
I hope you felt the holiday spirit through this article. The holidays are definitely in full swing across the globe and I’m glad to see it.
Do you have any Christmas displays you like that I missed? Drop me a line and tell me all about it!
