Recently Architectural Digest published photos of actor Will Ferrell’s Manhattan apartment which he shares with his wife Paulin. It’s a lively urban space featuring exposed brick, contemporary art and modern furnishings.
In the entrance hall I love the exposed brick and how the Scandinavian ceramics have been arranged on the vintage Dunbar cabinet.
Will’s open kitchen is equipped with all the bells and whistles you’d imagine to find in an upmarket urban home. It’s a practical and inviting space with a bright Roy Lichtenstein print hanging on the wall. The dining area is also a cheery; I’m a fan of how artisan Tanya Aguiñiga has covered the Eames chairs with blue felt.
Moving into the living room, the boulder-like seating by Smarin looks marvelous and oh so comfortable.
In the master bedroom the soft grey palette is soothing, and I adore the beautiful Hastens bed with its custom-made headboard. The sculpture on the windowsill by Dal Fabbro injects further sophistication into the room.
